In the spirit of new beginnings, I have had a rethink about my goals for this year and have changed some of my 101 goals to reflect this. This post on Facebook by Exceptional Living really struck a cord with me:
Quite a few of my goals involved buying/acquiring new items that I just don't need and can't really afford. So out with them (apart from hats and shoes ;-) ). I've also added a goal about living frugally for a year which will hopefully develop into a natural habit. I've picked up some tips already so I'm already noticing the savings which will hopefully help me achieve some other goals and clear off debt. There are a couple more mother/son bonding goals, some 'just for me' goals and even one to boost the dog's fitness levels. The garden make-over isn't 'needed' as such but I would love to attract more birds and wildlife and utilise our outdoor space more.
Here are the new goals:
4.Redesign and make-over garden
14.Take 101 'Mum and son' photos
25.Wear a dress everyday for a week
46.Sleep on an overnight train (Son's request)
54.Try three different alternative/complimentary therapies
68.Clock up 500 hours walking the dog
78.Halve my debt
98.Live frugally for a year to help fund these goals
I'm going to concentrate on some 'catch-up posts' this week to get me back on track
